First flock of chickens!

Our family of 3 is on a journey to better health, better food, better farming practices. Half of our 120 acres is certified organic and we are working toward certifying the remaining acres. I'm not from the farm, but my husband was born and raised milking cows. My first flock of straight run barred rocks / Ameraucanas is now 8 weeks old. It's been a great learning experience.
