First full day in the run and you hear distress peeping while upstairs...

...so you race downstairs and outside, asking how you could possibly have lacked the foresight to know installing a slide from the upstairs window would be wise! PEEP PEEP PEEP! It's only a sixty- or seventy-second trip, but suddenly it takes three minutes. PEEP PEEP! PEEP! I should never have let them run around in the run all day even if they all ran in and out of the coop while I was there... PEEP! Peek into the run. They aren't there! PEEP? Fly through the door of the coop to see...

Everyone happily nestled into a sunny spot on the shavings, giving me that one-eyed "What is the deal with you?!" look.

They have me trained!

Of course when they did this today...it was because three of them decided not to run in from the rain, but huddle beneath the eave of the coop. (They're fine.)
