My Americauna started laying and is giving us great olive green eggs. This was the first small one. Makes for a great colorful egg carton with the other two who have already started laying.

I am not exactly sure who is laying that speckled one but I think it is my Cuckoo Marans. Whoever it is the crazy chicken doesn't seem to want to ever lay in the same place. Only one showed up in the nest box. I have had a few in random places in the coop and yesterday they were out free ranging the yard for about 30 minutes before dark and when I went out to shut the coop door I found that one in the garden bed by my patio.

How old is your Ameraucana that just started laying? My 2 Ameraucanas are now just over 9 months and still nothing, where the other breeds I have the same age have been laying for several months. Being in WA, I'm thinking it'll be Spring before I get any greens eggs.
