First hatch!!🥳

Yes, you should expect the rest to hatch soon -- if they are alive. Sometimes, out of a whole batch of eggs, only one chick hatches. It's disappointing, but it happens. And it could very well happen in your case.
How many eggs are left in the incubator/under the broody hen?
they're in the incubator, about 14

Don't mess with the temperature while the other eggs are in the incubator. That lowers the chance for the other eggs to hatch.

Take the chick out of the incubator and set it up in a "brooder". A brooder could be, like you described, a "box in the garage with a heat lamp" and food and water.

What was the temperature in the incubator originally? It should have been 100 degrees F the entire incubation process.
yes its been at 100, i moved her to a brooder and put it next to our sofa. I've been finishing homework while shes at my side!

... she is in the incubator ...
50:50 chance it is a boy.
but i raised to temperature to 100 F and shes good now. shes starting to walk here a picture!!
100 is really too high for a hatched mobile chick. 90-95 is better.
Even better, make a place 100F and lots of cool space and the chick will find its own comfort zone.

lol my family keeps saying its chirps sound like a girl. she does have plenty of places to stay cool. how much hydro hen should i give it? theres a green sticky goop coming out of it btw. what hsould i do

Follow the instructions on the package. Always keep water available once they start drinking. But baby chicks don't go through that much water. 5 newly hatched chicks may go through a quart in a week or less. They go through much more as they grow.
Where is the green sticky goop coming from?
