First Hatch-A-Long!

I set 27 eggs on Tuesday, March 8th today is day #3. These are all eggs from my own birds.
This is my first time hatching with an incubator so may have some questions along the way.

I candled the olive egg and egg #15 which is a D'uccle egg today and both have embryos developing! I only candled the 2 because my niece wants to candle some with me so on Sunday I will be candling the rest.

What I set ~
6 BLR Wyandottes
6 Porcelain D'uccles
4 Pure Silkies
2 EE x Silkie
9 BYM (1 white egg, 1 amaracona egg, and 1 olive egg, the rest are brown eggs)

Today is day 4 I candled and looks like 12 of the 27 are fertile and developing.
here's my list. The Boysen X are BYM Bosen is my roos name

Sadly no BLR's are developing

tis very eggciting! That's what I was thinking maybe they are a bit harder to see? or maybe a bit slower for the veins to show?

It will be harder to see if it’s a darker egg. White eggs are easier to see things when brown eggs so maybe that’s why. What colour are BLR eggs?

they are a tan color except one that's more a light tan/cream

Sounds pretty. Do you find them harder to see into compard to the Silkie?

Slightly harder to see but could still see the yoke. the new candler I bought has made things easier to see like an olive egg I was able to see the embryo and veins yesterday.
