So I have two EE, my rooster is a pure Ameraucana blue. I have 3 blue hens and one splash.
First time ever hatching these.
I'm having a hard time distinguishing some of the Ameraucanas from the EE. They are 3 days old.

Your purebred chicks will have pink/slate legs. What color are your EE hens?
Do all of these chicks have the blue Ameraucana as the father?
This won't hold true if breeding Ameraucanas over EEs.
Ameraucanas are white skin. EEs can be white, yellow or carry both genes.
White is dominate over yellow so a pure Ameraucanas would pass white to every chick so in theory no matter what the EEs are they should show white.
I'd honestly call them all EEs even if a hen or two are Ameraucanas just because you can't be sure.
I don't understand what the OP is breeding to what but IMO mixing the two in the same pen is not a good idea if you're trying to keep or sell any as Ameraucanas.

Thank you for the clarification. I did not know that. 😊

The father is blue ameraucana rooster. I have EEs that are tan and reddish, none are solid colors. The EE only lay pinkish eggs so this next batch I'll be doing only blue eggs.
