Silkie ameraucana

This little friend hatched out of an ameraucana egg, so hen is either my splash wheaten or blue wheaten.

Clearly she’s been exposed to my silkie roo, because this guy has black skin and 5 toes on one foot.

Roo is black, with lots of reddish leakage. Is there a way to make some guesses about what colours he’s mixed with based on this chick’s colouring?

I wasn’t going to keep any from this hatch, but Peanut was just too cute.

What an adorable chick!

It's hard for me to guess as I don't know the breeds other than Silkie, but in looking at this one, without knowing another breed was involved, I'd say it was going to be a buff or red partridge.
