First hatch - nervous reck!

Congrats! Hopefully you get more coming. My friend just did her first hatch but out of 10 top hats from MM none made it. Only one hatched but it had 2 air sacs and was crooked and weak from the start. She lost him at 2 days old. So no top hats

It seems like I may only get the 2 from the first hatch. How long do you wait before shutting off the bator? Is there any chance that some will be more than a day behind the others?

25 days is the longest I go. On day 22 with no pips visible I candle the eggs. If I can't find signs of life I end it there. If there is the possibility of a chick hatching I leave it.
