First Hatch!

4 happy and healthy ducklings from my first hatch! They were a rescue from a friend who lost her hen to a predator. Each had a terrible struggle breaking through a leather tough membrane and a credit card thick shell. The little guy on the right catching a yawn was a complete rescue. I know its generally frowned upon but the odds were already stacked enough against him, so I guided him through. I don't regret it either. They all appreciate me but that little one really loves Brad-mom

Dreaming of rescuing a goose or two @thumper650

I would love a goose or two, but I'm concerned about noise. Canadian geese fly over my house and they're pretty loud. I want to keep the neighbors happy, so I'm thinking of a Muscovy duckling since I hear they're more gooselike than mallard derived ducks.
