First hatch!!

I have a question.

I have some eggs that will be going into lock down in 10 days. I just added silkie eggs yesterday. Will the silkie eggs be ok with the increased humidity/temp when its time for lock down!? I didn't even think about this! Im going to be putting up a barrier between the eggs so Im not worried about the hatched chicks bothering the eggs. Should I go buy another incubator? I would like to not have to do that but I will if its a must.

OK, so I am getting another bator. I am after all an addict. LOL. We did our 7 day candle and I'm SO excited!!i have 10 out of 12 that have movement! One looks infertile and the other just wasn't moving. It had good veining and air sac so we put it back and will look again later. I'll keep praying my luck will hold out.

Day 10! And everyone is still moving around!

Two days until my first lock down! Tomorrow I am going to go get the things I need to make a hatcher. I have silkie eggs in the LG too and I don't want to ruin them. I'm also repurposing a wall unit into a brooder outside. Lots of projects going on here! I think I might need to ask for power tools for Mother's Day

I have a few friends with kids old enough to really enjoy the hatching experience so they may be coming over to see if they can catch a fuz butt hatching out, I'm so excited!!
