First hatching experience!

I may try something like that next time. I just layed them on the wire rack in there. I have my brooder warming up and am getting there food and water ready.
When they first go to the brooder, food and water is optional. They are still injesting the yolk sack. So if you need to move them, a clean place with the right temperature is more important. Day 2 in the brooder, they're barely eating, it's more from curiosity than hunger....tomorrow, I expect the feeding frenzy to start to ramp up...lol

That's what I was thought from everything I have read! But I did get the light plugged in so it could be heating up! Thank you!!!! I am so ready to see all of them running around and eating, and drinking!!!!

day 1 in the brooder: wobbling and trying to walk, frequent naps.
day 2: are your toes worms? is that degree symbol on the thermometer a seed? still a little off balance, but starting to make small darting bursts, too....curious about every darned thing.... :)

Here are some pics of my new babies!!!!!!! The other egg didn't hatch!!! I don't know what was wrong with it! It died after lockdown!
