They look like 2 regular pharaohs and an Egyptian.

what is the difference between the two?

We have an Italian roo who is stunning, but an a-hole (he got loose this morning and we had to chase him around the block, my other roo and birds generally hang out and wait to be picked up.) This hatch was in part to preserve his pretty genetics...lol. Looks like we might have a couple tuxedos from our tuxedo hen, too...gonna be quite the mix!

Anyone who tries to fly out gets a very short wing clip, and the next try they fly like a rock haha.

The pharaohs are the regular wild type normal color quail. The Egyptians are a lighter color but same pattern.

The temperament of the bird is not related to coloring from anything I’ve ever seen or heard. The temperament will probably be most affected by how much you hold them and interact with them at a young age. As far as mating and hormones, to get better temperaments most people will cull aggressive birds and breed more docile birds.

Does this one look like your lighter one? I am pretty sure this is the progeny of my tuxedo, who is white and Rosetta. Photo is a little dark...

The light chick will look like the chick below to the far left, as well as the one on the right standing next to and looking at the cinder block.

the front left tuxedo is regular pharaoh+tux, back row, from left, 2 and 3 are regular pharaohs that is what the dark ones will look like.

His are all wild pattern, I believe yours is range, can you show a pic of his head and back from above?
Tho they are similar color now, yours will likely be darker as an adult. I suspect yours will look Rosetta colored, but may end up with some wild pattern marks down his back. The dark areas of the legs tell me there’s Tibetan/Rosetta in there.

I think this will be a particularly attractive bird IMO, but I breed for reds and tux’s so I’m biased.

They all look the same to me I will take pictures of the adults they also looks the same.

5thone down is the only rooster in cage

some are starting to molt and others are beat all the hell from the previous owner so they arent the nicest looking birds
