A month ago one of my Wyandottes went broody and I knew none of her eggs where fertile because we have our Roos separated at the moment and nothing would get her out of that broody stage so I went and purchased her fertile eggs for her to hatch out. Sadly out of the 8 only one hatched
so proud to announce our new chick who is a Olive Egger and I believe is a future hen. It came from a Ameraucana X Maran cross. It’s currently a week old and has tail feathers already so I believe we got a little pullet. Only time will tell as it will be my first Olive egger. I’ve also added two new pullets to my flock. One whom is an EE and the other is a cross breed that is unknown. I just got her because she’s pretty
