First Hen to lay

I have 6 buff orpingtons that I have raised since chicks. They have all been sweet and get along very well. One of my girls starting laying last week. Since then she has been stand offish to the other hens. She wants to be by herself or around me only. She doesn't want to be penned up at night with the other girls and is the last to go in, also I have to coax her. Will things change when the other girls start laying? I feel bad for her. Is this normal hen behavior?

The social dynamics change when a pullet proves her maturity. When the others start things may change again. As to being the last in. If it isn't dark yet she may just want to stay out a little longer than the other less mature do.
