WoohooTomorrow after dinner I am putting the eggs in LOCKDOWN!
![]()
Think you remembered everything!!!!Candling, adding shelf liner, removing turner, & setting aircell tilted up tonight at dark! Fingers crossed they all look good! I’ll open side B and add water also. Anything else I need to remember? It’s been awhile since I’ve hatched!
sure I already know the answer to this but thought you had a camera on them from your school last year (did I remember that correctly??) I am guessing it is hard to see any besides the ones the camera is pointing at with the dividers up? I got a divider for mine since I am going to band them so HOPEFULLY I can still tell who is who (not sure if any will really look alike though). But wondering how hard it will be to see on the camera? thankfully I have hatch day off so I shouldn't miss much! LOLWe are officially in LOCKDOWN!
All eggs had veining & movement! It was quite the feat to fit them all into 4 sections. One section has the 4 blue/teal eggs and 3 white/off white eggs, one has the 6 large chocolate eggs, and the other two have 7 each of browns & tans.
Average weight loss for all 27 eggs on day 18 is 12.1%, which is is right around my 11.8% from last hatch day 16, and 11.2% from my first hatch on day 17.
Smallest loss so far is egg 8 barn 1 at 7.7%, and largest is egg 2 barn 2 at 16.2%.
Twenty out of 27 eggs have lost between 10-14%. Air cells looked on point. I marked the tops with a line, and labeled that spot with the number so I can tell which eggs is which without having to turn them to the number side.
I am so stinking excited! Fingers crossed for a successful hatch & healthy chicks!![]()
