First Icelandic egg!! :)

I posted this in the Icelandic thread as well BUT this afternoon I got my first Icelandic egg. I have a very small flock of one blue roo, one blue hen and three black hens. They hatched in the incubator in June. Its a small pullet egg but as excited as I am it could be the size of an ostrich egg lol.

BTW. where did you get your chickens from??? I know there is a breeder somewhere in Northern Wisconsin. Wonder how many other are out there. I do want a pair of pullets. Almost landed some during summer, but only one. I like to add in pairs. I only keep pets. No roosters for me.

I will try to get some decent pics tomorrow. lmao, I love the GIF! I can see my birds being out in the cold like that. My Icelandics came as shipped eggs from a breeder in Massachusetts.
