So I am new to this whole chicken situation....my neighbor and I are attempting out first batch at incubating eggs. I took a picture at 7 days last night and they looked like this..
Out of my 9 only 1 looks like it was not fertilized so my question is, if the rest of the eggs look like that, are good to go so far? Also, I have them in styrofoam egg cartons and that's how I turn them during the day. When they go into "lockdown" should I take them out of the carton, or just open the lids?
