I am thinking about getting an incubator. This would be totally new to me so I was hoping to get some suggestions from my fellow BYCers.
I am interested in just a small model nothing fancy, the most basic but also effective. One that has everything you need (i.e. egg turner, fan, etc.) for a successful hatch.

Any ideas?

I HIGHLY recommend the hovabator model #1588, with fan and auto turner. It's AWESOME!!!

Either the 1588... but you really have to monitor the humidity.

OR

wait till the Brinsea 20 Advance Ex goes on sale. If I would have simply waited a few months, I would have saved HUNDREDS!

I don't think the humidity is hard to monitor. I prefer to take out the red plug and not use it. But I just fill the tray with water and add more when the humidity get around 35%... My most successful hatch was 32 out of 38 eggs I bought from the grocery store... not too bad...
