4 chicks -- 4 weeks old

i think it got down to 70 last night

no heat lamp
i got about 4 inches of pine shavings in the coop

when it got dark --- i pushed them into the nesting box and pushed pine shaving up around them to make it nest-like

got up this morning --- they were fine

one day --- they will figure out the ladder and venture down it to learn about the run

i think you're right ... got her from some guys house --- he said he had rir's, leghorns and dominuques

... gonna give it 2 more weeks and toss up a few pics on the age/sex/breed forums

They look like they are doing just fine.

You'll really be surprised how much they grow and thrive from here on out.

They look like they are doing fine. What kind are they, they are tiny for 4 weeks compared to my 5 week olds.

i was told they were 2 weeks old when i got them --- they've been in my closet for 2 weeks while i finished building the coop

supposed to be 2 rhode island reds and 2 buff orpingtons

although -- i think one of them is a mix or an EE
