First night out

Oh my goodnes, it's the flock's first night sleeping outside. They are all tucked in. They even went into the coop all by themselves. They are sleeping just fine. Me on the other hand? I'm a mess.

*brief bio. This is my first chicken owning experience. We have 7 Cherry Eggers. 6 hens and a rooster. We didn't plan on having Steve, but we love him. They are 9 weeks old and have been in a run during the day and the garage at night while we have been building the coop. So far so good!

The real meaning of empty nest syndrome, it's so hard those first few night.

Oh boy, I remember that! It was hard to think of those little tiny girls being outside (in a coop of course) by themselves. They did great but I didn't sleep much for the first couple of days

We all survived! Now it's time for momma to have a nap!
