They won't go in a coop so I'm going to use a dog house. I am going to build a separate pen but keep them together until then

Ouside today the babies are keeping a good distance from the bigs. Hahah hopefully they get a little more brave as time goes on.

I have been building a MASSIVE coop... All my birds have learned to love each other because the new one is in the back yard and I have a dog...

They are so fun... I let mine out to free range only when I am out with them. We don't have a complete fence on our property so left on their own they could get into some trouble. How are your little ones doing with the transition? Mine have made a really smooth merge. The babies followed in on their own last night and the distance between everybody has gotten much smaller now. I'm happy.

Actually, awesome! The two bigger chickens are roosters (crowed this morning) and the smaller chicks now sleep with them. All is well
