First night

OK our babies were hatched today, super active and seemingly happy. Only peeping when I would go away and here and there. Well, it's bedtime and someone is yelling towards the door. Then loads of peeps. Then silence. I'm watching them. Do they seem cold? They do keep coming out well the fat one does to drink

I raised the temp a few degrees and they are all sleeping now
What confuses me is it's now at 113 is
The temperature will drop and go back up when they press against it
Would they tell me if it's too hot?

In the last picture you just posted they all look comfy. Are you using a calibrated thermometer to tell you if it really is 113? I'm sure it's really lower than that and something is off. If the chicks are hot, you will notice them spreading out and panting. If they are cold they will all huddle together and chirp loudly, which sounds like earlier. Quiet usually means content.

I am not I just have thermometer w humidity that I use w my reptiles. They seem very happy and active today
