First Olive egg!

It’s not as green in the picture as in person but it’s gorgeous for a first egg! Beautifully speckled and with a dark olive tint! I’m super pleased with the color and how great my Easter Eggers girls are!

Thank you so much! I’ve been waiting longer than usual on this one. It’s been about 25 weeks since they hatched so not too bad for an Easter egger. Now only 12 more Easter egger hens to start laying too!

I’m hoping for a hen or more that lays blue eggs so I have both blue olive brown pink white and even chocolate.

I have one hen who lays green eggs. I have a rooster so i have some of her eggs in the incubator with my duck eggs!
