OK, that egg looks gray to me, but still cool color.
It is hard to capture the true hue.....and each computer may display it differently.
I got my first OE egg the other day...so exciting.
Well, first from a new crossing (BCM x CCL).
Far right egg is from Welsummer x EE..she was covered by BCM and those pullets should lay in another month.

Yes, having variety in the cartons for sale has been my goal for a while now. My customers love them especially when I color grade them in the cartonThank you! Your eggs are very pretty as well. Depending on what color my EE lays (she is same age as OE but not close to POL as far as I can tell), I would like to add a true blue or dark brown layer to the flock next and your BCM egg is just gorgeous. I'm just happy to finally have some variety in my basket after raising light brown layers for years.

Nope, far left was the first(broken on poop board)then sequentially to the right...except far right one is another bird. Those shades (assuming the one on the far left is your most recent) are gorgeous.
Your eggs got progressively darker too. Are they still getting darker? Mine have sort of leveled off to a mid olive.Nope, far left was the first(broken on poop board)then sequentially to the right...except far right one is another bird.
Yes... getting darker, browner almost but depends on lighting.Your eggs got progressively darker too. Are they still getting darker? Mine have sort of leveled off to a mid olive.
