We went into lockdown yesterday with our first 6 eggs...today we have 2 pips and hear lots of chirping!

This is our first time hatching our own eggs...when can we expect them to hatch? They are due on Tuesday...is it still too early?

I've had first pips and successful hatches on day 19. If you hear chirping and have a pip, that chick could show up from any point of an hour to 24 hours. Don't open the bator!

I've heard ppl on here saying they have had to help their chicks out after so long...how long should I wait after the first pip before assisting?

I just went through a hatch and the first one piped at 11am and zipped out at 8pm. (9 hours later) Next one piped at 1:30am and was out when I got up at 6am. The next two piped and zipped within a 15 minutes wasting no time to get out. Most likely from hearing the other two outside their egg.

We now have 1 chick...it pipped around 1pm, hatched around 9:30pm! We still have 1 other pip and 4 more yet to pip. They all have been moving and chirping. Hoping for more healthy hatches!!!

We are still waiting for a chick to appear. Have 4 pips, 1 is trying to zip I beleive and the first one to pip is still a rockin.
