First post and looking to add to our flock in SE PA !

Hi!

We live in extreme SE PA and currently have 15.. 12 week old chickens. 12 of them are bantam silkies and 3 are of unknown bantam breeds. I hope to get help with that here also!!

Anyway, my son would like to add 2 more chickens to our current flock. He is looking at Polish or Sultan breed. We can only take female.

Can anyone tell me how to go about finding where I can purchase such birds locally? I checkced the websites, but it seems females are all sold out and they require you to buy 10 plus birds at a time.

Thanks for any information you may have for me! We are just learning all about chickens and your wisdom is greatly appreciated!

We are in Delaware County. Right on the border of DE and NJ.
I actually drove to JM Hatchery for our silkies, and could drive a bit.

Hello. You could always try checking out a local Agway or feed store. Alot of them have chicks on hand or can order them for you. Good luck in your endeavors.
