I have WHAT in my yard? :
I got one word of warning for ya! Two hens are NEVER enough!
I keep hearing this from people.
Actually, it's my plan to have 4 total. I wanted two in the beginning to get a feel for how much work (time/energy/money) it takes to raise them, and now that I feel like I've got the hang of it, I plan to get two more next spring.
I live in the suburbs, so having more than 4 isn't really possible. I'm already violating neighborhood association covenants as it is, and I don't know how much I want to push it.
