Silkies can be very hard to sex. I had one who I thought for sure was a rooster until i saw it up-and layed an egg! but from what i see it looks like a pullet (Young female chicken) to me

It's only small tbh but it is only just 6months old. So friendly it is . Sits on my knee being stroked for ages. Tonight it started makeing chicken noises but I can't upload the vidio I don't think x

Could you get a photo of Her(?) facing forward with crest held back to show full extent of com? It would be great as well if you could get a naturally standing side profile to check for any male features.

Hopefully she is a pullet but, want to be sure. A cockerel might not have crowed early if it felt no reason to do so.

Thankyou for reply . Yes I'll try get a few more clear pics later. She? Wanted to come inside the house so I think that's what she was shouting at lol. Loves being in the house and sitting on the window sill.
