Hi guys.
Greetings from sunny Bulgaria.
So this is my first of what I'm sure will be many questions.
I inherited my chickens from two different friends so I have absolutely no idea what breed they are. I suspect if I asked them neither would they. They're just market hens. I'm assuming they're very hardy and good layers as the temperatures here are very extreme with boiling hot summers and freezing sub zero winters, and most of the locals here rely heavily on producing their own food. So I suspect they might be a kind of local mutt rather than a recognised "breed". I think they're around 2 years old, maybe half of them a little older.
Anyhow I've attached a photograph for your perusal. Maybe someone out there will know something about them. I'm brand new to all this (as some of you may have read in my introduction post) so finding my feet as I go.
