Good Morning,

It is our first round of quail eggs and today is day 19 at noon.....I just stopped rotation this morning......I have one chick out of 15 eggs....I'm worried that no more will hatch our little guy is acting like he needs friends .....what do I do?

First, what quail are you hatching as different species take longer or shorter to hatch.
They are large coturnix quail....this chick is literally rough housing the rest of the eggs.....

I wouldn't worry too much about the chick knocking the other eggs around...they do that, and eggs still hatch ok. 🙂 I don't hatch quail, but this article may be helpful.

Assuming temp and humidity were correct during incubation (low temps can delay hatch), since the eggs continued to turn during the period that they would normally be getting into hatching position, they may take a little longer to hatch. Best of luck!
