Holm you have to remember pop is a Midwest term, you leave Minnesota and Wisconsin head south and ask for pop and you get a blank stare from the waitresses,
It is pop in Nebraska.
Cool, I was not sure how far it goes, I guess that proves Nebraska is part of the Midwest! lol
There is somewhere I was and I do not recall where but all "soft drinks" were called "coke"..
What flavor coke do you want? Blew my mind and I will be darn if I can remember where that was.
I'm originally from Atlanta. All soft drinks were "coke" when I grew up. As in, "I'll have a coke" - "What kind?" - "Root beer..."
Not sure if folks do that any more though - I haven't heard it in a while (and since living in a number of other places, I now use "soda" - which took a while to get used to...)
