First Run of Cornish Cross Meat Birds and Super Excited!

Holm you have to remember pop is a Midwest term, you leave Minnesota and Wisconsin head south and ask for pop and you get a blank stare from the waitresses,

I am raising Toads this year with luck, I may not even buy any chicks if all turns out. Toad rooster breeding CX hens and one toad hen.

It is pop in Nebraska.

Cool, I was not sure how far it goes, I guess that proves Nebraska is part of the Midwest! lol

There is somewhere I was and I do not recall where but all "soft drinks" were called "coke"..

What flavor coke do you want? Blew my mind and I will be darn if I can remember where that was.

I'm originally from Atlanta. All soft drinks were "coke" when I grew up. As in, "I'll have a coke" - "What kind?" - "Root beer..."

Not sure if folks do that any more though - I haven't heard it in a while (and since living in a number of other places, I now use "soda" - which took a while to get used to...)

let's hear it guys and gals what breeding will be taking place on the farms

Besides the normal pure breeds I'm going to try to mix svart honas with jersey giants and cx-jersey giants- rir see about a fast growing meatie giant that also lays a lot of eggs lol

I am going to do some pure Cochin and cross that big black roo over an Australorp and a few other breeds. But I plan on making a good strain of layers. I will be setting eggs on Valentines day. Might be later but it depends on schedules.
