Rooster and veggie soup for dinner! My kids are finally not grossed out by eating chickens we once fed and cared for. Huge step in our household!

This is seriously the best thread ever!! I have spent many a sleepless night reading about all of yall's beginning endeavors in meat chicks!

This group of 3 week and 5 week Cornish X just got started on fermented feed, and they like it just fine. Of course, I haven't found anything that has calories that they didn't like just fine!

Hi! I am new to the site. I am on my 2nd batch of Cornish X. They are 6 weeks old and i have had a couple die recently. Their breathing gets slow and their skin is turning purple. Im thinking heart failure but i honestly have no idea. Any ideas? What can i do to stop this, its breaking my heart. Thanks for the help.

They will kill themselves with overeating. You need to restrict their feed after 2 or 3 weeks old, and slow down their growth.
