First Run of Cornish Cross Meat Birds and Super Excited!

Hey I have Maran's but they are too young to lay eggs. I was going to breed them, but I might just make them into layers.

They are not the birds I expected them to be, plus my straight run was 5 roosters and 2 hens. Kind of ticked me off when I get 80% roosters on a autosexing breed. I think someone screwed me over... I might send them a gator in the mail.

Please say where you got 'em...could save some folks some cash and heartache. or prison term.

I am not going to cackle on anyone. I will never reveal where I got them. Anyone can make a mistake and sell 80% males in an auto sexing breed as straight run, even a hatchery,,,,, named... Naw, I refuse to name them...

I am happy with the birds, do not get me wrong, I am only cackling about the number of males in an auto sexing breed....

Well, I have to run the wife is starting to Cackle......

And from what I can tell on the radars, Texas and Louisiana will be getting 'wattered' for some time to come... And I don't type this with any glee in my heart. Hoping for the best for all you folks in that mud hole and if it weren't so hot, I'd like to come down for some hog hunting. The only big game that's more fun for us is black bear!!!
