NOT ME!!

I take all pain and illness without nary a whine of whimper. I am so stoic in the face of these deadly diseases, aches and pains.... WHAT ME COMPLAIN!!!!!!

However, I would like to note men get many illnesses worse than women do.......

BTW I have never had a sniffle, I have major lung congestion and near pneumonia, or deadly head colds..


And on the same vein, today stinks, it is damp and humid here today so my knee is killing me, I have decided it is a tramadol day. If the tramadol does not work, it could be a peppermint schnapps day also...


See how I manage my pain? Just action, no whining. ( please do not ask my wife's opinion on this, she is prejudiced against me.)

Jessica, I am not ALL men, I am me, I am special. I am different. I am God's gift to all women, except my wife who fails to recognize how special I am.

zooman, you asked about where to get some breed of chicken, I have no idea, I have mutts. I doubt anything I have is purebred. The closest I come is my Black Australorp and I am fairly sure he is a mutt too. It is only fitting as I am a mutt myself. I cannot even find the post you asked that in.

Now while feeding chickens and picking eggs I have stumbled across a great truth. Chicken feed is the perfect food and is recycled many times!

I buy chicken food. The chickens eat it and grow or lay eggs. I eat the eggs or their meat. In essence I am eating chicken food!!

Now comes the real bargain. It is like the mythical "perpetual motion machine" no energy is ever lost. There is no waste in chicken food. What is normal waste in animals is recycled into dog food.

Aren't chickens amazing?

This poor bird was in labor for 3 days and did not say a peep.....Unlike most humans in labor that....(WORD DELETED for my safety).... when they have a little day and a half of labor....

I think all wives are prejudiced against the reaction of pain and sickness of their husbands!

Important Question:
Having an over abundance of eggs, I decided to make deviled eggs to bring to a family gathering.
I found the hard boiled eggs hard ( read nearly impossible) to shell. The whites and the eggs stayed firmly together, making eggs that look like they came through the war.
Is there a trick to shelling fresh eggs when hard boiled? I have always heard you do not want to hard boil fresh eggs, I think I know why now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.


Do not suggest adding more vodka/alcohol I tried that last night and the eggs just peeled worse the more I drank.
