Yep, they are big girls. I guess that's because they eat 20+ pounds of feed each day. I do have a couple of midgies though.

They are precious! I love the way the shake their little tails...

What kind of ducks are these again? (I'm not up on my duck breed recognition.)

Thanks. I LOVE them! I love how they shake their tails too. These are Golden Hybrid 300 from Metzer Farms in California. They are bred from Khaki Campbells.

Jessica, I know you know I have a prejudice against waterfowl. Ducks no matter how dry the pasture you raise them on are waterfowl.


First the video is cute and almost looks like duck propaganda. You will not get me to get some with that stuff!! I am resolved.

Second, way too many ducks, way way way too many. But they are cute in the propaganda piece.

However, how do you dare walk in flip flops in that pasture ever again? I doubt latex socks would even help. What if the latex breaks? How do you clean the flip flops.

Yep, the cutest propoganda ever. My pasture is already drenched from the rain. May as well put ducks on it. Lol! Right now, I am one with my rubber boots. You can clean flip flops with a hose though. Easy peasy! Feet wash Ralph, as long as you can reach them.
