I pluck straight away while the bird is still warm and hot dip the chicken if plucking by hand, I didn't this time as I used my mate plucking machine (which didn't work very well) ha.

When I'm hunting game, pheasants, ducks, geese etc they are cold by the time I get home so hang them with the feathers on as it makes no difference as they are cold anyway so plucking them at that point or when they've been hung would be exactly the same.

Cold..... words you NEVER hear in my part of the world. Least ways not more than a couple of weeks

Do you wanna swap?
In here it really gets hot! We had two weeks with no rain and 30*C for a week. And I think that's all we had from the summer this year...
At least my rabbits and chickens are not struggling now. They really didn't enjoy the heat

30 degrees C is what on a real Thermometer???

It appears it is 86 degrees........ While I am not a fan of that temp it is better than the 95's we have had. 86 is almost chilly compared to what we have had..

What are your winter temps??
