I have been toying with the idea of getting some August so I don't have to worry about them getting cold. Then when they are big enough to eat they will be ready to butcher.

Young roosters are worse than older roosters. They are kind of like teenage boys Young and dumb

So if roosters crow at about 4 months, they can't mate before then?
