First Sebastopol gosling has hatched!

first few sets are all Sebastopol..........Our American is feeling about 2 maybe 3 weeks out on laying as of yesterdays check. Will be checking the dewlaps today as we sort a few into a sub flock.

I want some Dewlaps (kinda bad) so...to appease my need....I'm hoping to watch some of your hatch and grow

LoL

here is who we are breeding for dewlaps this year. 7 made the cut to be breeders out of the 13 on site currently. the others are on pasture as a juvenile group

Thanks ..the first is BIG and healthy and strong........great first perfect hatch. Good hatchlings come from strong, healthy well cared for breeding stock selected for strengths and culling those that wont pass along good traits. Its all about the parents and they do the hard work, we just get to enjoy the results of hard culling to selective breeding.

Celtic, just curious; how much do you think your Dewlaps eat? I know my Sebbies and Americans do not eat very much, compared to their size.
