My 18month old spaniel, Jac, went on his first shoot today and was a really good boy! He is very intelligent and has done well with his training so my husband decided today was the day! He did not shoot but worked jac who found warm birds a bit puzzling and difficult to pick up but got the idea quickly. He also flushed several pheasants and sat as he is supposed to.
I am so pleased he did well and he is now curled up at my feet in the warm with a nice full stomach and I swear there is a smile on his face!!
