Yesterday was my first show of the year, and it was amazing! My little Birchen hen Frankie won herself a Best of Show ribbon! I don’t have any pictures from the show, as I haven’t uploaded them from my camera, but once I do I’ll share them!
The bad news, when I woke up this morning, one o my other hens I had taken with was all snotty and puffed up. I don’t know if she got something at the show, or if she already had something, it just didn’t show symptoms until today. I’ve given her some antibiotics, hoping it will clear. But that means no more shows until I can be sure everyone is healthy
