First Snow of the Season, in Connecticut

The first pic is from Saturday, and the second from sunday. I swear, in the first... they were interested in this stuff. They pecked it, ate it off eachother... the second pic, I let them out of the run (the total time they were free was probably 15-20 min). I swear they flew out like normal when I opened the run, landed here and were like WTF is this?! They checked it out, pecked at the sticks and then just stood there, so I herded them all back into the run, where I'd thrown down new straw and some dandelion greens.
They were very not impressed with this white crap. LOL

This is my first winter with chickens and I'm also in CT. They seemed to not mind the snow until it got up to their ankles.
On Sunday, I cleared their run and let them out to inspect my plow job

@Naturegirl155 I'm also having my first winter with chickens. The only other measure I think I'm going to take, is to get some reinforced plastic and wrap the part of my run that encloses my coop. To reduce the wind.
