First three eggs... then NOTHING?

Last Tuesday Aug. 16th, the first of my pullets (Josephine, a black sex link) laid her first [tiny] egg! I believe it is her because she's the only one with a bright red comb/wattles and squatting right now. The following Saturday, a second egg! Then last Monday (a week ago from today) a third egg!

And that's it. No egg since. I've searched the chicken yard all over at various times of day to see if she's laying someplace other than the nesting box, but I've yet to find a secret egg.

Should I be worried that she hasn't laid an egg in a week, or is it somewhat normal that things start slow and irregular when the girls first start laying?

Most hens don't lay daily, and when they start up the system can be irregular. So nothing to worry about if she's acting normally.

Mine layed her first egg then nothing for 5 day, the consistency of new layers varies from what I have read
