first time 14 of 24 so far

I have fourteen beautiful chicks so far on my first time incubating. This morning is three days past hatch date and there are four more moving around and cracking their shell.My question is,is this normal and how long should I wait to shut down incubator.Thanks to all.

Your temps. must have been to low at one point or even the whole time. That happens sometimes.

Glad they are hatching out for you and that you were patient waiting for them!

I agree, your temps have been low thru incubation and that's why it's taking past day 21. Just have patience for more to hatch out! Good job! I have had chicks hatch out on day 25 before so give the unhatched eggs a few more days.
