First time baby chicken owner

So I have a few questions or I guess worries I might just be over thinking because I've never taken care of baby chickens before but then again I don't know.

My one keeps panting like its hot or something but it doesn't try to go where it is cooler i don't know what it means or if it's normal and I guess like wagging its but and then periodically shakes it head but I think that's normal I'm not sure and then my other one loves to try and escape there about a week/1/2 old

Yes they are so I guess it's normal just made freak out thinking it was too hot or something and thanks I'll be constant asking questions
