I have never had any breeds that went broody but my bantam mix is sitting on at least three eggs and I gave her four more. First thing is the four I gave her are duck eggs, will that be okay. One of the original three she has I stole from what loomed to be another broody. I could t get the eggs under her will she do it? Also I put six larger eggs for the other one. Will she possibly sit on them?Any info is appreciated. I know the first is broody when iI tried to five her the ducck eggs she tried to peck me. Would love ducks and would love so.e larger breeds. Barred rocks and buff proj grinsare the other six. What do you fguys think I am way lost.

You could let your hen hatch duck eggs for you, no problem, but rather not let her sit on duck and chicken eggs at the same time. Duck eggs takes a week longer than chicken eggs to hatch, so she will get up with the chicks before the ducklings have hatched. Could you "steal" her chicken eggs for your other broody?
