First time broody is killing her chicks

Yup, that's right. I've heard about this happening but never experienced it, but this dumb hen is killing her chicks off as they hatch. She's still sitting on several eggs.

I'm thinking that in flock management terms, if you wind up with a bad broody, it might be time to learn how to process a chicken.

If you have an incubator take the remaining eggs from her and harch them yourself. Is she a first time broody?

Dah I guess I skipped straight for the killing chicks part. She might do better second time around.
