First Time Butchering Questions...

We plan to butcher one of our yard birds and we need to know if there are any obvious signs that we should look for that would indicate that the bird should not be eaten.

If he's not acting sick or injured, then he sounds delicious!

Other than that, if you see any swollen, bruised or banged up flesh, just cut it out before bagging and freezing.
