Tonight we ate our first home grown chicken and it was amazing! We had a naked neck roo that was getting aggressive with us. I think next spring we're going to get a bunch of cornish x so we can have fresh organic chicken in the freezer.

Great feeling to process and store your own poultry. Makes you feel more self sufficient just to know you can do it, and it tastes good.
