First off hello and thank you for taking the time. This is my first post with pictures, so I hope I get it right.
We were at our TSC and they had there chicks on clearance for 25 cents. Wanting chickens for years we snatched some up. Luckily we knew we were going to get at some point and had almost everything we needed. So we started off with 13. I had to run to town the next day. Let's just say we now have over twice the original amount. My husband was afraid when he came home that I had bought the rest of what they had. I was tempted! If I would have know that was an option, I probably would have!
So now I am trying to get an idea of what I might have. If anyone can help or at least narrow it down for me, I would greatly appreciate it. TSC only had one bin left with bantam chicks. They get their chicks from Privett. Here is the listing of their bantams.
Here is the first chick.
2nd chick.
3rd chick. This one is very tall.
4th chick.
5th chick.
6th chick
7th chick.
8th chick.
9th chick. It's a frizzle!!
Last but not least is the ones I really want to know. They are larger then most of the other chicks. Most have slate feet. Their wings are black. Some have small white feathing on the top of the wings, but most are solid black.
Here is to show the size comparison from the other chicks.
I forgot this one. I don't think it is the same as the other black ones. It is smaller with a small white dot on its head. It's legs are not slate.
Again thank you. Also if someone could tell me how old they might be. I'm guessing 1 week to 2 weeks. The big black ones are 2 weeks?
