Hi, I'm Brenda. I live in Bellevue, WA and have eight 6 week old chickens. So far we are having a lot of fun with them. Love just watching them root around.
We moved them to the coop about a week ago, with limited outside privileges (when it is warm). This is all new or us and wondering when they will be able to go in and out of their coop on their own. The coop stands about four feet off the ground and has a ramp.

and Welcome To BYC! What does your ramp look like, how steep is it, does it have good footing? It does take birds a few days to get used to new things, but six week old chicks should be able to get up a ramp by themselves if it is not too difficult. You might try putting treats/ scratch on the ramp to make them want to go up and down it.
